How TenderEurope collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit the website or contact us.
Last updated: 28 September 2026

What data we collect

When you contact us through the website, we collect the information you choose to give us. This is typically your name, work email, company, phone number, the market you are interested in, your message, and any tender documents or drafts you upload.
When you visit the website, we also collect limited technical data about how the website is used, such as which pages are visited and how visitors found us. This is done without tracking cookies, as described in the section on cookies and website statistics below.

Why we use your data, and on what legal basis

We use the information you send us to answer your enquiry, assess your tender and, if you wish, prepare an offer or deliver our services. The legal basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, or to fulfil an agreement with you (GDPR article 6(1)(b)), together with our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (article 6(1)(f)).
By sending an enquiry, you agree that we may contact you by email or phone about that enquiry. We will only send you newsletters or other marketing if you have given separate consent (article 6(1)(a)), and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

Sharing with our local specialists

TenderEurope works through a network of local specialists in the European markets we cover. To help you with a tender in a specific country, we may share your enquiry with the specialist responsible for that market. Our specialists are bound by confidentiality and may only use your information to help you.
Most of our specialists are based within the EU and the EEA. If your data is shared with a specialist in a country outside the EEA, such as Switzerland or the United Kingdom, this is done on the basis of the European Commission’s adequacy decisions for those countries, or on the basis of the Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Other recipients

We use trusted suppliers to run the website and our email, such as our hosting provider and email provider. They only process data on our instructions and under data processing agreements. We never sell your personal data.

Cookies and website statistics

The website does not use cookies for tracking or marketing. The only cookie it sets is a necessary one that remembers which language version of the website you are viewing, and because the website cannot work properly without it, it does not require your consent.
To understand how the website is used, we use Ahrefs Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not store your IP address or any other information that can identify you. It only gives us aggregated figures, such as how many people visit a page and how they found the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless an agreement is made. If you become a client, we keep the information for as long as the collaboration lasts, and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example five years for accounting records under Danish bookkeeping rules.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use your rights, write to info@tendereurope.com.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, www.datatilsynet.dk. You can also complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The latest version is always available on this page.
